2026 Awards Nominations
Mark your calendar for an unforgettable evening! PMI-NAC's 2026 Awards Gala Event is June 4, 2026.
Do you know an exceptional Project Manager? Or an outstanding project completed in 2025? We want to hear from you as we recognize and celebrate excellence in project management across our community.
PMI-NAC is now accepting nominations for awards to be presented at our Awards Gala on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. This formal dinner event will be an elegant evening of celebration, with cocktail attire requested. (Visit our events page to purchase tickets and to submit the nomination application fees.)
We need your help in gathering nominations! PMI membership is not required for either the nominee or the person submitting the nomination.
Our four award categories are:
Outstanding Project Manager of the Year
Nominate an exceptional individual for Project Manager of the Year and recognize the dedication, leadership, and impact they bring to their organization. This award not only honors a hard-working professional but also provides valuable, cost-effective visibility for their company.
Nomination Fee: $100
The fee includes:
- One completed award application submission
- One admission ticket for the nominee (includes dinner and two drink tickets)
- A commemorative physical award recognizing the nomination
If Selected as the Winner:
- A physical award presented during the ceremony
- Formal recognition during the Awards Gala
- Mention of the achievement in local press coverage

Outstanding Young Professional Project Manager of the Year
Nominate an exceptional under-40-year-old for the Young Professional Project Manager of the Year and recognize the dedication, leadership, and impact they bring to their organization. This award not only honors a hard-working professional but also provides valuable, cost-effective visibility for their company.
Nomination Fee: $100
The fee includes:
- One completed award application submission
- One admission ticket for the nominee (includes dinner and two drink tickets)
- A commemorative physical award recognizing the nomination
If Selected as the Winner:
- A physical award presented during the ceremony
- Formal recognition during the Awards Gala
- Mention of the achievement in local press coverage

Outstanding Project of the Year
You may also nominate a project for Project of the Year. This award recognizes well-structured, expertly executed projects that deliver measurable impact and outstanding results.
Nomination Fee: $100
The fee includes:

- One admission ticket for a project representative (includes dinner and two drink tickets)
- Public recognition of the nomination during the awards ceremony, providing visibility for your organization
If Selected as the Winner:
- A physical award presented at the ceremony
- Formal recognition during the Awards Gala
- Mention of the achievement in local press coverage

Outstanding Small Business Project of the Year
You may also nominate a project for Small Business Project of the Year. This award recognizes well-structured, expertly executed projects that deliver measurable impact and outstanding results for companies that have under 200 employees.
Nomination Fee: $100
The fee includes:

- One admission ticket for a project representative (includes dinner and two drink tickets)
- Public recognition of the nomination during the awards ceremony, providing visibility for your organization
If Selected as the Winner:
- A physical award presented at the ceremony
- Formal recognition during the Awards Gala
- Mention of the achievement in local press coverage
