Abstract:  The best proposals not only win new work, they are also executable, profitable, and can be submitted on time without destroying employee morale. Strong proposal projects employ PMBOK methodology inside and out to submit compliant, compelling bids with the most efficient use of company resources and staff goodwill. Daniel will explore proposals from a Project Manager’s perspective, highlighting best practices and KPIs your company needs to win – and execute - more work with less pain, while sharing a few proposal war stories and lessons learned from his 12-years’ experience on more than two hundred proposal projects.

Bio: Daniel Price, PMP, leads strategy and proposal development for Tyonek Manufacturing Group and Tyonek Services Group, a fast-growing aerospace enterprise headquartered in Madison, Alabama. Since joining Tyonek in 2017, he has helped the company win more than $500M in new contract awards and increase staffing by 150% to become one of the fastest-growing government sector firms in North Alabama.  Prior to joining Tyonek, Daniel led the Huntsville-based management consulting firm The Red Team, helping more than seventy U.S. and international companies earn more than $4.5B in government market contract awards. A Marine Corps veteran and graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Daniel moved to Huntsville in 2008 with his wife, Amy, and two children.
